COVID-19 INFORMATION

04/02/20 COVID-19 Update:

Dear Families,

We all hope that you and your family are continuing to stay safe and healthy!

I know so much continues to change and we are all trying to adapt so I thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We are continuing to disinfect and deep clean the facility while following COVID-19 restrictions.

In accordance with the Governor’s Shelter in Place extension until April 30th, city facilities, including Soccer City in Palatine IL, will remain closed. At this time our earliest return date would be May 1st, but we will continue to monitor the situation week to week based on the recommendations and mandates from local, state, and federal governments and provide updates as they become available.

All Spring Seasons will continue to be extended. This includes Lil Kickers NWI and Skilz Academy Classes, Juniors Programming, and Gecko Goalkeeping School.

We will continue to support our customers, staff, and their families in any way we can, especially in this time of great uncertainty. We want to assure you that we continue to actively monitor this public health threat as well as local, state, and federal actions that may impact you, your family, and the facility. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these extraordinary circumstances.

Please feel free to reach out by email if you have any questions. You can reach Ivan, Youth Program Coordinator, at herediai@chicagosoccer.com or Liz, Assistant Youth Program Coordinator, at eoriger@chicagosoccer.com.

03/13/20 COVID-19 Update:

Dear Customers

We are writing with an update on our response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. While we believe the risk of exposure is very low, we want to ensure the health and safety of our valued customers and staff, especially with the over abundance of caution in the surrounding areas.

It is with the greatest level of health precautions that we have suspended all youth programming activities at Soccer City in Palatine (545 S. Consumers Ave, Palatine, IL 60074) until April 1st, effective immediately. We will continue to reassess the situation while providing further updates as they become available.

We are making the following adjustments to our Spring Seasons 2020:

  • Lil Kickers and Skilz Academy Classes
    • Spring Season 2020 will be extended by two weeks until June 20th
  • Juniors Program Winter 2
    • Your account will be credited for 3 classes (3/14, 3/18, 3/21)
    • Spring Season 2020 will begin on April 1st as scheduled
  • Gecko Goalkeeping School
    • Your account will be credited for 2 classes (3/14, 3/21)
    • Winter/Spring Season will hold its last class on April 4th as scheduled
  • Spring Break Sports Camp (March 27th)
    • Camp is cancelled
    • Your account will be credited for the cost of camp

We will continue to support our customers, staff, and their families in any way we can, especially in this time of great uncertainty. We want to assure you that we continue to actively monitor this public health threat as well as local, state, and federal actions that may impact you, your family, and the facility.
